Our client is an innovative clothing designer and online retailer that leverages technology to transform and lead in their market. With operations in China and Vancouver they reach customers in over 50 countries worldwide. As part of their fast growing team, the Lead Designer will be responsible for executing and refining the entire design concept and related collateral for the company including: website, packaging, and other collateral. In addition international travel to China will be part of your responsibilities as you spend time with and work with teams in Canada and China.

Reporting directly to the Creative Director the Design Lead will be challenged to take on and excel at increasingly more responsible tasks and to personally drive the betterment of the company's overall design. The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate that they have 'the right stuff' when it comes to design as well as a passion to work hard and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilites

• Refine website layout, design, and flow to provide a better experience for the user.  As a natural design thinker and individual, this should come naturally to you.
• Execute functional suggestions from the marketing and analytics team to increase SEO value and on-site 'conversions'.  You are a natural team worker and your ability to take suggestions and execute them in a design savvy way is essential.
• Revise and improve packaging to ensure a best in class ‘Out of Box Experience’ for clients.

• Exceptional working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Fireworks.
