They are looking for a very special person for this role: to be successful you will have recent business development experience with a focus on developing partnerships, contract negotiations and fulfillment rather than on prospecting for new business (because the opportunities are finding you, not the other way around!) You should know your way around web technologies, and know what an API is and what to do with one. And most importantly, you need to be someone that can demonstrate they know how to execute at an operational level.
